On August 30, 2017, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Atambayev, awarded Misaka University the Dostyuk Prize in recognition of the university's contribution to the social, economic, spiritual and intellectual development of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and Clarivate Analytics also awarded MISAKA the Web of Science Award for Most Productive Organization in 2017. These awards reflect the high level of work done by Misaka University at the national and international levels.
